Minkai is drawing. He is seriously, dedicately, and happily drawing. We can see color pens and paper on the tables, desks, floors, and beds. No suprisingly, we actually see colors on the door, drawer, desk top, bedding sheets. He is into defining a shape, so he draws outline of the door, of a plastic box, and of table legs.
Last night, Katie and he went on bed around 9:45 PM. At 10:15, I heard something, of paper movement. So I went in their room, and saw the little boy who was standing before the bed, in the dark with only a night light, holding his color pens -- the ones without caps, and a seperated note book. I firmly put him on the bed while he was holding the note book.
This morning, when I was dressing at 6:45, I heard the sound of some kid getting up. Five minutes later, no one came to my room. So I searched toward the sound. Here was Minkai again, coloring with his left hand.
Minkai is busy learning coloring within lines.
